| Mohonasen is offering students an opportunity to take their Learner’s Permit Test via the Internet, thanks to a new program offered by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
The Online Knowledge Test Application program is a brand new service designed to allow students ages 16 and older to obtain learner’s permits. Mohonasen High School students can take the test by appointment, during a study hall or other free time, starting on Monday, April 16.
Students must make an appointment with Ms. Sabatini in Room 10 (Distance Learning Room). When students sign up, they will receive a drivers manual to study and a date and time for the test (students must return the study manual before they take the test). Testing will take place in Room 10.
Students must:
1. Present a picture ID and verification of birth date
2. Be at least 16 years old
If students pass the test they will receive a receipt and new driver packet to bring to the DMV. This should expedite getting their permit. If they fail, they reschedule for another time.
For questions, please call Mohonasen High School Assistant Principal David Collins at 356-8302.
