On Tuesday, June 27, the Mohonasen Transportation Department is holding an open house for people interested in becoming bus drivers or bus aides for the district. The event will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Mohonasen bus garage, located at 300 Warrior Way, Schenectady, NY 12303, near the CAT building on the main campus.
Candidates can apply and have on-the-spot interviews. Licensed drivers can test drive a bus.
- Aides will make $15.00 per hour.
- Drivers will make $20.30 to 22.84 per hour, depending on experience.
- Both positions are eligible for health insurance and retirement.
