The draft 2024-25 Districtwide Safety Plan was presented at the July 10 Board of Education meeting. The district invites members of the school community to review the drafted plan and provide comments by emailing safety@mohonasen.org. There is a 30-day public comment period before it will be formally adopted by the Board of Education in August.
The Districtwide Safety Plan is required by law to ensure that schools are ready to prevent or minimize the effects of serious incidents and emergencies. It is also used to facilitate coordination with local and county resources in the event of an emergency.
