The Draper Middle School Music Department traveled to Holyoke, Massachusetts, to participate in the annual Music in the Parks competition. The students took home a few trophies for Mohonasen.
The students won 1st place MS Band (superior rating), 1st place MS Choir (excellent rating) and best overall MS Choir, Best MS Vocal Soloist (Angel Rodriguez), and 1st place MS Orchestra (Excellent Rating). Draper also won the overall festival Esprit De Corps award, which recognizes the participating organization that displays an exemplary attitude of positive support and outstanding personal behavior throughout the festival weekend.
