Draper’s 4rd Annual Celebration of Cultures Day

Draper students participated in the annual Celebration of Cultures Day, sponsored by Draper’s Peers for Peace and No Place for Hate. The event celebrated the backgrounds and traditions that make the Draper community, giving students a platform to proudly share their heritage with classmates and staff.

In preparation for the day, students created informative posters highlighting interesting facts about their cultures, covering topics such as language, holidays, customs, music and more. In addition, students brought in traditional foods from home to share with their peers and teachers, offering everyone a literal taste of different cultures.

The lobby was transformed into a colorful display of global pride, as students hung flags representing their own cultures, creating a welcoming and festive environment for all.
