Mohonasen high school students in the district’s trades program recently visited the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners training facility in Albany. Students learned about the Carpenters Union apprenticeship program which includes training in metal framing, timber structures, welding, drywall application, form building and concrete work.
This hands-on experience not only broadened their understanding but also provided a glimpse into the opportunities available in the field, inspiring them to pursue careers in the trades with confidence and enthusiasm.
