March 6 was Spread the Word Day, a day created by students to rally and promote the inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The district would like to congratulate our very own Michelle Goss and Carrie Becker for winning the first Capital Region Opening Doors for Inclusion door decorating contest! Their door showcased photos of the Mohonasen unified sports players throughout their season.
The campaign was created by the Special Olympics Unified Sports of New York to promote the importance of inclusion. Goss and Becker make us Mohon Proud!
