On Monday, May 8, Pinewood and Draper students were recognized at the Sandra G. Morley New York State Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance (NYSAHPERD) Student Leadership Awards held at Hudson Valley Community College. The NYSAHPERD is the state physical education and health teachers’ professional association. The group annually recognizes over 700 fifth and eighth graders from around the capital region for their leadership and civility in physical education.
