The Mohonasen Unified Sports team was recently featured in an article by Daily Gazette journalist Will Springstead. Unified Sports is an inclusive program that brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together to participate on the same team, promoting unity and friendship through sports. The Mohonasen team plays bocce in the fall, bowling in the winter, and basketball in the spring.
