Welcome back letter from Principal Chandler

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I hope that all of our students have enjoyed a restful and relaxing summer! The weather has certainly cooperated thus far. I’ve spent much of the summer moving my kids out of and into college. When they haven’t had me busy, I’ve enjoyed as much of the outdoors and the fantastic weather as I can. When I’m not with my family, I’m here at school with our team, working hard to be ready for what is sure to be a fun and exciting school year.

We have been very busy here at the high school getting ready for the return of our students, and I have some key pieces of information to share with you. I’m sure this list is not all-inclusive, and I will share more information as it becomes available. Mohonasen High School Updates

I’m sure you will notice a couple of big changes for this fall. I ask for your patience, your willingness to try, and your eagerness to focus on what brings you to school in the first place: the best possible education we can provide so that you can fulfill your dreams!

Our first day of school is September 5, and the school day begins at 7:30 a.m. The doors open at 7:20 a.m., and homeroom lists for students will be posted around the building. Students will receive their official schedule in homeroom. It’s important to note that while you may receive access to view a schedule in SchoolTool before the first day, the official schedule will be the one provided in homeroom on the first day. Grade 9 students will also receive a student agenda and everyone will receive a full kit of school supplies to get started on the right foot.

Please enjoy what’s left of the summer, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Best,
Mr. Chandler
